Here are some pictures from my last month. I had my first Thanksgiving. We went to Grandpa and Grandma Frattallone's house in the afternoon and then to Uncle Erik and Aunt Jacci's at night to see Grandma and Grandpa Deb and Tony and Grandma Ali. I had so much fun! I'm also standing now...of course my parents have to stand me up and I hold onto something but I can still stand! I still think it will be a few months before I walk. I had my first visit with Santa Clause too (there is a picture below). I'm so excited for my first Christmas this year. I see a ton of presents under the tree already and I just can't wait to get my hands on them! I also had my first parent/teacher conference a couple weeks ago. I'm doing very well at school! (although a few days ago, one of the teachers told my mom I was pulling another baby's hair...oops).
Enjoy! The next update will be after Christmas so you can see all my new toys and then my first birthday is right around the corner!!!
Me and Santa
Here's me getting ready to go see Santa...I was so excited!
Here's what happened when my parents tried to get a picture with all of our pets...it didn't work so well. You'll see on our Christmas card what the final picture looked like. Just a hint, not all members of our family get along so great so we couldn't include them all.
Our Christmas decorations for my very first Christmas!! My own personalized stocking is on the right.
Grandma Pat has my very own Christmas tree at her house!
Thanksgiving
Me and Grandpa Tony and Claire the day after Thanksgiving
Standing like a big girl!
At my friend Francesca's birthday party. I got my own stamp on my hand!
At my parent/teacher conference...
And some other pictures from the last month!
Brushing my teeth! Oh and P.S., I no longer have this tooth brush since Mabel, my dog, ate it.
My parents FINALLY got their home laptop fixed so we can update you on the last 2 months which have been very, very busy!
The month of September was really busy with my mom (and a little of my dad) planning their big day on September 26. We had such a fun time and so many people came to watch my parents get married. I'm so happy too because now my mom has the same last name as me :) I wore the most beautiful dress and it matched my cousin Claire's dress who was my mom's flower girl.
I just got my first tooth last week and let me tell you, it was torture for both me and my parents. I have another one coming in now too. I'm hoping this will get easier the more teeth I get. I'm also crawling! It's so much fun to get to where I need to go so much faster and on my own. I can do so many more things like play with cords! My parents stop me every time I get close to them but I sure do like to play with them! And I play peek-a-boo now too which is my most favorite game in the world...my parents took a video of me playing below.
Well, that's all for now! I hope everyone is doing well!
Here are some of their wedding pictures (thanks to all my mom and dad's friends for taking them).
OK, now that I've shared those with you. Here's me playing peek-a-boo...I'm so good at it and I just love playing it with my parents.
And here are some other pics...
This is Mabel trying to get my Cheerios...see how she's acting like my best friend?
This is what my face looked like the first time I tried Cheerios. I love dill pickles and didn't flinch the first time I had those but this is what I first through of Cheerios...go figure!!!
This is me on the plane on the way home from Florida...don't worry, my parents didn't actually give me booze on the plane. The bottle was empty and they were just trying to keep me entertained.
Mmm...pickles!!!!
Minigolfing in Florida...it was way past my bedtime!
Me entertaining my parents while out to a nice dinner on their honeymoon!
On the beach in Florida.
I love to swim!!!!
My first day at the beach!
So today the Olympics came to my school!!! My class represented Ghana because my teacher Naomi is from there. We had to dress in red, green and gold (as you can tell by my attire, my options were limited). Our Parade of Nations got a bit rained out but we had nice coverage with our big strollers. Since Bella and I had on leg-warmers, we got to sit in the front of the stroller. I was busy stretching my legs out for the big event! Once we got inside, they had games for us like a crawling and a walking race (none I could participate in since I don't do either yet so I just ate as you can see in the last picture) and they had throw the water balloon in the bucket. Sebastian kept breaking his balloons; it was really funny. Anyway, all the big kids got to play outside and it looked they were having a ton of fun. I can't wait til I'm that big and can participate in the big kid Olympics. Well, enjoy the pictures!!! The first picture is of me in my first outfit of the day. Mom had to quick run home before the Olympics started to get my true Olympics outfit.
We had so much fun at the cabin. My Mom and Dad and I were there for 5 days and they almost stole a 3rd puppy named Shy but realized it probably wasn't the smartest idea. But this little puppy wanted to be by us all the time; he even snuck into the cabin and into our cars a few times. But, we had to say our good-byes on the last day. We had so many fun people up there...we had Uncle Erik and Aunt Jacci and my cousins Claire and Cooper. We had Trish and Eric, Heidi and Cesar and Laura and Veronica. Needless to say I was really spoiled with a ton of attention. It was great!!! We don't have too many pictures of us at the cabin..the best one we can't show because my Aunt Jacci wouldn't be happy if we showed it but she knows which picture I'm talking about :) And the one with my Dad's hat on crooked is just plain silly. He tries to look younger but I think he just looks funny. The first one is when we're getting ready for our early morning walk to get coffee and a breakfast sandwich. It was a bit chilly in northern Minnesota so my parents bundled me up well.
I love, love, love my bouncy chair!
I found my feet!!! And Lucy found my cheeks!
My dad dressed me today...my cousin Scott bought me a Ducks jersey.
My parents were trying to get me to sit up on my own...I think I did it for 3 seconds which is pretty good!
Like I said, I love my puppies and they in turn, love me so my parents thought they would try to see if Mabel and Lucy would let me ride them like a pony...it didn't go over very well but it was sure fun trying!
Well, I'm growing really fast (you should see my thighs!!!). I'm already eating vegetables...only the orange ones though like sweet potatoes, which were my first, and carrots and squash. I love them all!!! I get 2 meals a day with rice cereal and my vegetables. After my 6 month appointment, I'll get some green vegetables which I'm guessing I won't like as much. Eating is sure a messy deal as you can see from the pictures below. My mom has learned to just take my clothes off and feed me that way so my clothes don't get stained especially since sometimes I like to spit my food out all over mommy...I can get it pretty far!
I was so messy that my parents just put me right in the sink instead of taking me upstairs for a real bath.
We had so much fun for my first 4th of July! We went to Grandma Pat's and Grandpa Larry's cabin in Crosslake, MN. My Uncle Erik and Aunt Jacci were there with my cousins and my parent's friends came up too. We all had such a blast that we decided we're going again in late August. I think they really had the most fun when us kids went to bed. Here are some pics!
This is my first life jacket. We had to test it out in the hot tub before actually going in the boat at the cabin. It worked well and I loved it...it's Dora the Explorer (or Doria the Explorer if you're Laura)...ha!
Here's a video of me testing my life jacket.
My first boat ride!
Dad and I were hanging out on the deck reading magazines and Mom snapped a pic without me knowing (or I would have covered up my tush!) Now you can all see my huge birthmark!!!
This is me and Monkey. I love Monkey...besides my friends at school and of course my dogs and cats, monkey is my best friend.
